Day 11

Today was a lazy day, sort of. Changed hotels and had to wait for our suite at the banff springs to be ready so walked around this unbelievable castle hotel, very easy to get lost, it is absolutely massive!!!
Once we got checked in we went for a swim in the big pool and outside in the hot pool, I love swimming in a hot pool outside in this fresh mountain air, it is just something else, so refreshing and the scenery is outstanding! I love love the mountains! My favorite mountain is Cascade mountain! That is the one you see behind us on banff avenue. We have a terrific view of the valley from our room, I believe it is between Rundle mountain and cascade mountain.
Our suite is very nice and the view is spectacular!
I decided to splurge and take the kids to the pub just down the hill by the rink on fairmont property. The food was really delicious!! I even got a Portabelo burger, way to much good for me but yummy! The kids all enjoyed their food too, good thing for the price! I won't be eating at the restaurants on property very much, just way too pricey!
We have fun just walking through the halls and seeing all the great rooms and the shops, it's fun to explore. No ghosts yet but we are on the lookout!!
