Day 12

Today we took a bus back into downtown banff and picked up a few groceries, everything is so expensive at the hotel!! Skye and I decided we would walk downtown and hike back to the hotel while Kyle and Raven took a bus back (slacker teenagers!). We had a really nice walk back to the hotel, Skye got a pair of abominable snowman mittens and played in the snow the whole way back!
When we got back Skye & I hiked down behind the hotel to the bow falls area and looked at the rink and sliding hill. They decided to go back to the pool instead of the pool and it was a lot if fun, I love the hot pool outside, so relaxing and the view is simply beautiful and with Christmas music playing it was awesome!!!
After we came back and had a light supper (peanut butter sandwiches and mr noodles haha) and Skye & I went back down behind the hotel to the pub area to a bonfire and explored the hotel a bit.
We are all finding we are very tired by around 6-7pm, still not really adjusted to the time for some reason. Anyways, Denny has arrived in Calgary and Eric Macleod is picking him up for night and he will take the bus tomorrow and arrive here at the Banff Springs at around 1:30, yahoo! I can't wait!!
