Day 9

Wow! Quite a day in banff! Let Kyle and Raven sleep in and Skye & I did a little banff shopping (again) it's dangerous...so many great shops! We got each of them a little present today, Skye got a new cap that he loves, we got raven furry giraffe mitts and Kyle a new Tshirt from a cool skate shop and I got something from...lululemon.....
Ravens 15th bday is tomorrow so Skye and I also picked her up a couple little surprises.
We got back and caught our tour bus with Banff Tours to go out to Johnston Canyon. Wow! What am incredible day! The hike was about 5 km on snowy mountain paths and skinny boardwalks through the canyon, it was pretty steady climbing and the kids did really great! The falls were amazing and the hike felt good and the air was fresh and wonderful!
I was so proud of the kids on this hike! Raven and I are both afraid of heights and much of this hike was pretty high, we had a few moments but we did good! The tour gave us ice cleats and walking sticks and hot chocolate and maple cookies before we set on the path back. It was a great tour, well worth the money!
Came back and ate at Carlitos pizzeria, super yummy pizza! Now taking a much deserved relax! Next up...hot tub before bed!
